Diversity and Inclusion

The Problem

Many candidates from diverse backgrounds are facing multiple challenges throughout the job search.

Oftentimes their resumes and applications are not taken into consideration because of discriminating factors such as: age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, years of experience, ethnic background, parental status, veteran status or due to a disability.

Effects

Due to these challenges and discriminatory practices, many of these qualified job seekers are overlooked for employment opportunities. Many talented people remain unemployed while many companies are unable to fill their open positions. This can lead to higher unemployment rates, lower retention rates at companies and the potential collapse of the economy.

Our Solution

3minutesjob allows you to work with companies that value diverse and inclusive practices.

Help these companies fill their job openings with our diverse candidates and also adding an “inclusion” badge to their company profile.

Older candidates are generally looking for stability and are willing to remain working at a company for a longer period of time than younger candidates.

We understand that being a parent is one of the most difficult jobs ever. Due to our current climate and the pandemic, our working culture has changed and physical presence in an office is no longer necessary in many industries. Many parents face discimination throughout the job search. We must remember that parents have valid work experience, skills and the ability to serve as valuable employees.

Many candidates who identify as diasbled -- either physically or mentally experience discrimination. We must remember that disabled candidates have valid work experience, skills and the ability to serve as valuable employees.

It is 2021, how nice would it be to allow everybody to express themselves as they wish? Candidates who identify as LGBTQ are discouraged from applying to certain roles for fear that they will not be accepted in the company’s culture or won’t be considered for the opportunity due to their sexual orientation.

Veterans have sacrificed their lives to serve our country and it is our responsibility to support them in their career development when they return from serving. We must remember that veterans have valid work experience, skills and the ability to serve as valuable employees.
